Justice Cotton, Library Assistant

What do you like most about your job?

I love being able to connect with fellow readers and talk about what we are enjoying in our reading journeys. It’s a great way to learn more about one another, and it’s a privilege to be able to connect with so many within our community.

What are you reading now or what titles are on your reading list?

I am currently reading The Guest List by Lucy Foley for this month’s book club and listening to Pachinko by Min Jin Lee on audiobook.

What would you like the community to know about the library?

That the library is so much more than a place to borrow a book. We host clubs, offer crafts, have many different services for patrons, maintain a huge variety of movies and games, and we always have a friendly face to talk to!

Do you have a favorite project, event, or memory from your time working in the library?

One of my favorite activities to participate in is the monthly book club. We always have such a great time discussing what we have read and catching up with one another. It’s a great little community to be a part of!

When I’m not at work, you can find me…

With a good book and cup of coffee in hand! On my days off, I love to spend time with my family, baking, reading, eating chips and queso, and volunteering at church.
